I am honored to serve as President of the Rho Rho Chapter. One hundred and one years ago, 22 phenomenal women founded our sorority, based on the principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. Nationally, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has made great strides towards the empowerment of our community through service. Our sorority has committed itself to several initiatives, which can all be seen through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrusts. Some of our national programs include: Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy, continuing efforts at the Thika Memorial Hospital in Kenya, and Voter Registration. Following these efforts, it is our duty as a chapter to uphold the legacy and to continue to blaze the trail of success, as we strengthen our community and our sisterhood through continued, dedicated service.
During the 2014-2015 school year, we are looking forward to sustaining the impact the Rho Rho chapter has had on the Richmond community since 1992. I am excited about our programs this year and hope that you will join us!
Take a look at our calendar of events and feel free to contact any member of the chapter for more information! Thanks for visiting and we hope to see you at our next event!
